Historic village quilts brings was born out of a love for American quilting and antiques.
Christine Brooks Corbett is an artist and quilter who strives to maintain the legacy of the American quilt while creating unique and fine contemporary pieces. Each year, she offers a collection, colored by hues and patterns of the past, and done by her own hand. She designs, cuts, pieces, or appliqués, her ideas into the quilt. She does the beautiful final finish of freehand quilting. The quilts are signed, dated, and come with a personal label. Hand quilting is done only by request. Christine’s work in the region:

Ted Corbett is a teacher, administrator and scholar. Ted has an interest in historic communities and material culture, including quilts. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of antiques. Anthony, the forthcoming, No Turning Point, the Saratoga Campaign in The Campaigns and Commanders Series, as well as many other titles. |
